Beth was very understanding of the position I was in...She helped me hone my test-taking skills specifically for the MCAT and aided me in "thinking like the test makers"...I always felt accomplished after my two hour sessions with Beth. John also helped me go through tests and chapters as we continued through the semester, explaining things and working through problems with me in ways that made sense to me. I went from a test average of C to a B, and then my final grade was scaled to an A-.

I reached out to Lucas in the spring when school was closed to do some math enrichment for my 5 year old son Leon. Besides being a brilliant mathematician, I knew Lucas to be incredibly warm and creative, and I thought that, despite being obviously overqualified, he could think of a way to engage a young kid. Throughout my life, I had always studied chemistry in a technical manner. Instead of understanding the concept behind a topic, I would merely learn how to solve the problem and leave it at that.
